Here it is Friday and home alone for the moment. Will have to go into work at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.
Granddaughter went home yesterday evening. She was suppose to be here till this evening, but miss not being at home, so her dad picked her up after work. Her mon, my daughter is on a girls' week-end up north.
We did take her up to Frankenmuth, and I was able to pick up a miniature kitten, to use as decoration on my hand knit blakets, also picked up a miniature bench. The Raus Country Store, has just about anything you could want for you miniature doll house.
Now will have to knit a afghan to display on the bench, that will be after the lavender doll blanket I'm working on.

Yesterday I finished a light blue doll blanket, and it listed on Etsy.com.

And to my surprise it was posted on the East Treasury by overtherainbow.esty.com

The treasury was called breezy blue. There were some very lovely items listed in that treasury. Many thanks to overtherainbow for including my blue blanket.
Today is my day to spruce up the house, as I don't go into work till 4:00 this afternoon.  I will be working on one of the 3 small afghans, plus starting a pink doll blanket. I will have to give some thought to getting yarn together for a couple scarves also.

I think I need more hours in my day. Good think I was put down to part time.

Gloomy, Dark Day

Today is starting out to be a very gloomy day, with sever weather coming in.
Cleaned out the refrigerator, wash a load of towels and ran the dishwasher. Ran to the post office with my second reserved order, second one with-in the week.
 I will be able to spend the afternoon working on one of the 3 afghans, that need to be done before Christmas. Keep putting than aside to work on orders that come in. But that does give me a break from the afghans. Also working on a pink doll blanket for my etsy shop.
Will need to think about getting some things ready for the holiday season. Hard to believe that the year is half over already.  Where does the time fly?

I stayed up quite last evening finishing up a custom order. Finished and listed on Dels Yarn Basket.etsy.com, this morning. It sure helps having a couple of days off together.
Now ready to start on the next order, which will take awhile. But of course I will work up others items for my shop in between.  Must keep adding new items all the time, to keep ir fresh.

Monday

Good Morning,
Well the week-end is over. Was a busy one for me. My community had a 3 day yard sale. Did real good the day before it open and by Friday it died, so didn't bother with on Sat.
I finished up the pink blanket and sent it off. Started on one of the three that  need to be finished before Christmas.  Then  got a custom order on Fri for a doll blanket,  and Sat had a request for one for a  small baby. 

My daughter and her family were over  for dinner yesterday. Enjoy the day with them. Now have to go to work today, then have the next 2 days off, so will have the doll blanket done and mailed out no later then Friday.

Relisting a set of hand knit and crochet dishcloths

I have the day off, so took the time to relist a set of dishcloths on etsy.
Plan on finishing up a pink baby blanket for a customer, also working on a cute doll blanket.
Don't know why, but I aways have two or more items going at the same time.

I had started a blog awhile ago, and some how it has gone missing. Now the new blog has to be under my name, del wilson,  instead of my etsy shop name, which is DelsYarnBasket.  Shop name is already taken, but of course it is taken by me. All I was trying to do was set a new layout. I sure could use my granddaughter's expertise here.
